Biography Sadistic Christ
Sadistic Christ was formed in 2018 in Madrid, Spain, by Jesús Hernández (guitar) and José Maneiro (drums). They were later joined by Luis Carreido (vocals), Antonio Rodríguez (guitar), and finally Dima Morhalo (bass). The band’s primary genre is death metal with technical elements.
The pandemic-related pause caused lineup changes. Luis Carreido left the band, and Juan Moreno took his place. This lineup released the EP «Stigmatic Slave», officially launched on September 28, 2021, marking the last project with Antonio Rodríguez and Dima Morhalo. Dante Fernández replaced Dima on bass, and Mario Pérez joined as a guitarist.
After some time, this lineup performed a private concert alongside Moñigo. Juan Moreno was replaced by Diego Muerto on vocals, and Mario Pérez by Joaquín Tobar on guitar. They recorded the single «Despot to Regrets» and released a playthrough video on their official YouTube channel. The band also performed at several concerts, including the Gravestone Fest in Madrid.
In 2024, Joaquín Tobar left the band, and Abraham Nekro joined.
The current lineup features Diego Muerto on vocals, Jesús Hernández and Abraham Nekro on guitars, Dante Fernández on bass, and José Maneiro on drums. This lineup recorded their first album, «Carnal Desecration», officially released on October 27, 2024.
